FREE-C is here to walk with you. For those who have a substance use disorder and have been involved in the justice system. We’re building a strong support network in Faulkner County to support your recovery and reentry journey.
What is FREE-C?
FREE-C stands for Faulkner Recovery and Empowerment Expansion for Community. It’s a community-based initiative helping justice-involved individuals residing in Faulkner County reclaim their lives through support, resources, and connection. It is designed to fill gaps in current treatment and recovery systems and support our community in moving towards long-term recovery.
Who is Eligible?
FREE-C serves individuals with a substance use disorder (SUD), live in Faulkner County and have been involved in the justice system.
Your Responsibilities:
As a FREE-C participant, you are responsible for adhering to the guidelines of the community programs where you receive treatment, recovery, and support services. In addition, FREE-C is intended to serve as a program as a last resort meaning that we will ask you to explore eligibility for other community programs to meet your needs. The program is also designed to be a stepping stone to long-term recovery, meaning that short to medium-term supports are provided as you continue your recovery journey.
