ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Chad Rogers, M.D.

A Little Rock native, Dr. Rodgers joined the Little Rock Pediatric Clinic in 2002. He attended Baylor University and returned to the University of Arkansas for Medical Science for medical school. He completed his pediatric residency training at Arkansas Children’s Hospital where he served as Chief Resident. He has a strong interest in preventive care, health literacy, and child advocacy.  He is the co-founder of Reach Out and Read Arkansas, an early intervention program supporting literacy. Dr. Rodgers also serves as Chief Medical Officer for the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care. He is the 2015 recipient of Arkansas Children’s Hospital’s Dr. Tom Ed Townsend Award, awarded annually to a community physician who has provided excellence in pediatric health care and been a consistent supporter of Arkansas Children’s.
