Chris DeBernard, M.D.

Originally from Baltimore, MD, Dr. DeBernard comes to us by way of time spent at the University of Virginia earning a BS in chemical engineering in 2000, and then at Tulane University earning his medical degree in 2011 and completing his combined residency in 2016. His time between undergrad and medical school was spent consulting in the IT and engineering sectors. As a dual-board-certified physician in both internal medicine and psychiatry, he is perfectly positioned to guide the medical services team to provide optimized patient care and better enable us to fulfill our mission by providing compassionate, quality behavioral health services to the people of Arkansas.  Dr. DeBernard feels driven to treat the whole person: both the mind and the body, and has interests in mood illness, psychosis, and recovery services.
