Behavioral Health Coding: 2025 Update

Participants will leave with an understanding of CMS Documentation Guidelines for Behavioral
Health Integration, understanding risk adjustment and how it affects their practice and patient
care. Participants will also explore nuances about true disease state and claim coding, including how to handle conditions they are not the treating provider of.
Presenter: Kim Hahn, CPC, CDEO, CRC | Risk Adjustment Education, Provider Engagement Specialist and Coder | Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Kim holds an associate degree in biology and has worked in the medical field 23 years before focusing on medical coding. She is currently employed at ABCBS on the ACA Risk Adjustment team as a coder and educator, working with healthcare providers on documentation and coding compliance with current ICD-10, CPT, and CMS guidelines.
