Speakers: Kim Shuler, LCSW, Patty Gibson, M.D.

SBIRT is a comprehensive, integrated, approach to the delivery of early intervention and treatment services for persons with substance use disorders, as well as those who are at risk of developing these disorders. This training goes over the fundamental principles of using SBIRT. This training can benefit primary care centers, hospital emergency rooms, trauma centers, and other community settings that provide opportunities for early intervention with at-risk substance users before the severity of their condition increases.

This is the first in a two-part training series funded by the Arkansas Rural Opioid Team Education (A-ROUTE) grant managed by ABHIN.
